staying at essex arms motel was a great experience for my family. the convenient location in town centre made shopping easy. for $125, we had a spacious room with comfortable beds for 2 adults and 4 kids. the owner was welcoming, and the staff were friendly and helpful. the shower and coffee facilities were a plus, and we appreciated the flexibility with check-in time. Cons: nothing, all great 😊.

The hotel had very helpful and especially helpful staff members. Location: the property was near supermarket, food gas stations and Auckland International airport and nice Indian restaurant. Had nice dainties at Nikki's Kitchen, located not too far from the hotel.

An excellent hotel with a variety of very good sized and adequate rooms to relax in. Professionalism of the staff. Great dishes, central location out in the park area. Simply no complaints, relaxing stay.

Stayed at a centrally-located hotel, just a short drive to Hamilton and Fieldays. Convenient parking requiring room key for access. Friendly and helpful staff.
Room cleanliness fell short with dirty cups and old beddings. Strong smells in corridors, noise disturbances, and cigarette smoke permeating some rooms.
